The Georgia DOT will put the AU or UA or UF or UT etc on your Georgia license plate for a nominal fee.
I don't mean as part of your number, but your school's official logo, on your Georgia license plate.
This pisses me off.
People talk shite about how many recruits that UGA loses from the state to other SEC schools, it's because there are so many transplants in metro ATL with no loyalty to any state school or institution, so many that the damn DOT makes millions selling other school's logos on the license plate.
So, here is the question. Is it just Georgia doing this?
Can I move to Alabama or Florida, or Tennessee, and pay an extra fee to the Tag Office to get a UGA logo on my official license plate?

I do.
Do you have any other questions?
LA and AL have more in common than just being a palindrome, they don't let non-state schools advertise on their license plates.
Let me guess, you drive around with your Auburn tag on your little-dick-big-truck on I-75 and you think that is totally normal.

If what other people have on their license plates pisses you off, you're probably going to check out via heart attack/stroke around age 50.

In the real world outside of Tigerdroppings, one might consider it a point of pride that our state/city draws so many people from around the region.

This shite getting crazy. Now those schools have gained a recruiting advantage because their logo will be on a license plate?

Its par for the course for backwoods alabama not to allow out of state plates. If it were up to them, there would still be segregated black and white schools.

"Our" ?
Please expand.
I bet you are the kind of person who expects Mexican immigrants to learn English, and Arab immigrants to England to respect Western rule of law.
But when immigrants from Alabamastan come to Georgia, you think it is completely reasonable to fly their flags on state property. That license plate is state property.

I am willing to compromise.
For any Georgia tag to have another out-of-state school logo, there must also be a small statement across the bottom of the tag that says "I live in Georgia because my own poor state has no jobs" and the fee covers only the cost of printing the plate and the royalty back to the trademark owner, all additional proceeds from the fee go to the university system of Georgia, to be split up among the various Georgia schools, so I'm even willing to let Georgia Tech get some of the money.

It's not like some 5* is going to be riding his whip through Decatur, see a UF license plate and think:
"Awww, frick it. I ain't seen a Dwag plate all day, but that muhfugging Gata plate look good. I'm a Gata, brah."
Please...
Oh, and to answer your question:
