For TAMU, Auburn and UF, these are the teams to definitely root against:

B1G: Ohio State/Nebraska winner (would have to beat Indiana twice - unlikely).

Big 12: Kansas/TCU/WVU pod winner (will face KSU/OU for auto bid)

CAA: Northeastern/Towson (Northeastern plays W&M for the right to face Towson, who has to lose twice to miss auto bid. SEBaseball already factors Towson win into bracket though)

CUSA: Memphis/USM (Simple...home team Rice needs to beat Memphis today and USM tomorrow to prevent bid theft)

Sun Belt: Arkansas State (longshot about to get finished off by FAU, it appears)

Ohio St. might be in as an at large bid regardless.

From SEBaseball-

quote:

Bloomington Regional
Host: Indiana

1. Indiana (B10 Auto)
4. Ball State (MAC Auto)
2. Alabama (SEC at large)
3. Notre Dame (Big East Auto)

This looks good. I would love for Alabama to send ND packing again.

From College Baseball Nation-

Tallahassee Regional
Host: FSU

1. FSU
2. Alabama
3. Florida Atlantic
4. Rider

I'm good with this, too. I grew up in Tallahassee and my mom and brother are huge FSU fans. Would love to send them packing, too.

Would be a disgrace but I could see it (Northern charity case). Seems Michigan State has a better argument, but I assume B1G only gets two bids if IU wins the tourney (Illinois at large).

Thanks for posting

Manhattan, Bloomington or Blacksburg are the only Regionals OM would have a chance at winning.. Unless, of course, the 4 seed beats the 1 seed in their regional.

A tough 0-2 start for Florida St. combined with a 2-0 start for North Carolina St. has The Wolfpack replacing The Seminoles as the seventh overall seed. It has been a long time coming for Elliot Avent's club to get into the national seed picture, with an RPI of 7 and the most wins of any ACC team against the RPI Top-50, N.C. State finally finds itself in prime position. With Carlos Rodon heading the rotation, they can never be counted out in a playoff format.
