results at your school?

Part of me understands how tough it is in the SEC, then part of me just knows our team time and time again takes on the personality of Bianco and presses and tenses up in late innings.

We've been 1 win away from Omaha 3 times.

Eta: in all 3 super regionals, we won the first game then lost the next 2. That means we're 0-6 in games that would send us to Omaha.

Pat Casey was at Oregon St for 10 years before he even took them to the post season.

Though, former Bianco assistant Dan McDonald did take Louisville to the CWS in like his first season there.

A few years ago, when many OM fans wanted him out, I thought it premature. At this point, I think its getting Stansburyish.

And they'll be hosting a regional here again too this year.

This will give me a reason to frick with Louisville fans and tell them Ole Miss is coming for him though.

Bianco made his run at OM while Polk was slowly killing Miss State baseball during that 2005-2009 time. Polk got to the point he didnt even leave fricking campus to recruit the last couple of seasons. Polk finally killed the program in 2008 and we hired Cohen in 2009 to start building it all over.

Cohen had his first two years to start changing mindsets and getting new players- and now he has finished ahead of Bianco for 3 straight seasons in the SEC.

Now that State baseball is back as a top half SEC program like it should be - you are seeing the slow decline of OM baseball and Mike Bianco

Bad news is that McDonnell and Bianco are still VERY close. Zero chance he comes to OM if Bianco is let go on bad terms -- especially with Louisville joining a legit baseball conference...
