This is good, I'm glad Lsu can re-establish their rivalry with A&M. I just wish they would do it in the first game of the season like they used to.

Texas is beneath me and the entire SEC west.

I don't consider them formidable.

Oh just admit that you would like to beat Texas in to the dirt more than you would LSU.
But Texas aTm can't beat Texas so it really doesn't matter what he'd "like" to see.

Like I said in my longer post. They're a rent-a-win these days.

That's awesome. I hope I can see an LSU player scoring and throwing a horns down in my lifetime.

I'd make that my avi

I bet there are at least a dozen posters on that site who are still holding out hope for Gruden.

Haven't you heard? Tennessee is Gruden's dream job.

If by "dumped" you mean "left for the SEC," that doesn't count.

We did too. But it's Texas who won't play us.

You obviously never took a spin around Hogfans.net during the great coaching search of 2012.

There was a poster on there that claimed that he spoke daily with Gruden's wife and the deal had been signed long before our season even ended. He had tons of people hanging on his every word.

Texas scheduled us and Petrino got Arky out of it when he was hired. Once again, we dumped Texas.

Petrino avoiding Texas at the start of his tenure isn't the same as dumping them.

Motive is the key here.

As your leader alluded to earlier, Texas could slap that game on the schedule in a moment's notice.

You dumped no one.

Yeah the only reason neither of us are playing Texas regularly these days is because of Texas. We would have never stopped playing them in '92 if they hadn't cut us off. That would have been our preferred scenario when we left the SWC. It was a pretty big deal when they actually agreed to that series with us in '03-'04.

That's actually a bad arse picture

I'd love to see an annual Arkansas/Texas game except that it would help Texas have another marquee game and I enjoy laughing at their CUSA-like schedule

IF true, Arkansas vs LSU should be moved to the week-end before Thanksgiving. With the hogs getting Missouri to end the year, looks like permeant rivals will continue from the east, enjoy UF. I guess the sec could grandfather ark-missouri, Auburn-UGA, and Alabama-vols than rotate the other school's. The better move would be to tell bama deal with it and move auburn to the east and missouri to the west, who the hell cares about Vols-Bama?

I'm hoping that with this move we can start playing Arkansas in Fayetteville regularly. If this is the case everyone wins. Haven't seen a game in Fayetteville and would love to see what its all about.

DRE06, there is a lot to not like. First of all, it's your tradition, not ours. It may well happen because of the SEC league office mandating it, but J.Aleva has been bombarded with complaints already bout any possible move to that day/nite. A friend's daughter works in his office & she told her dad that whenever this topic comes up, the office gets emails by the inbox full ranting against it. Many of the younger Tiger fans don't care, those who call it, like you, a "normal boring family lunch". This is the same group of fans who bail out of TS in the 3rd quarter to go back to their tailgating parties. But for the majority of us, upsetting decades long family traditions of gathering together is important. For those who travel from Houston, north La. or Mississippi, the whole day is shot just in travel time.

ESPN already said the Egg Bowl is going to be played on Thanksgiving night. Y'all don't have to worry.
