Apart from a few on here, I think you'll find that most Arkansas fans are pretty un-rustled about this in general.

And most think a "rivalry" with Mizzou is kinda silly.

Its a downgrade for sure.

I understand - but who will your rival be with LSU dropping back in your schedule?

SEC offices sure seem to be dumping on Arkie with this one. Like, "thanks for the past 21 years but we've got aTm now hawg fans."

I bet there are at least a dozen posters on that site who are still holding out hope for Gruden.

Get one with it, since 41-25 won't be evened in your lifetime.

Let's assume this is true--it only bolsters my point. You guys can maintain this gap for the next 30 years yet lose your marquee game in less than 1.

Again, an indictment.

One would think Arky dominance over TAMU could stall or even keep this from happening. But it can't.

Infuriating.

That guy who started he whole thing by claiming to talk to his wife daily actually broke off at one point and started his own board dedicated to the cause. Not surprisingly he disappeared after Bielema was announced.

Your premise is that A&M is superior to Arkansas and that's why you are playing LSU on Thanksgiving.

Its more about your geographic proximity to LSU.

I don't want to get sucked into another Aggie anti-logic black hole, so I'll just say you're 1-3 against us lately, 25-41 all time.

If you were "Daddy", I'd be a lot more excited about the fact that we are 41-25 against you all time.

Instead, I just take it for granted, like gravity, and Aggie weirdness.

It just IS.

Not really sure it's mine, just seems to be LSU's.

I mean, we are in a state that borders La.

But yeah, CS is 184 miles closer to BR, so I get the proximity point.

In all seriousness, the SEC doesn't have an exit fee and the Big 12 is low on options. You could reunite with 4 SWC rivals and not have to put up with Slive's obvious bias against you. Start emailing your AD and President.

That's funny coming from a fan of a school that took 21 years longer than us to figure out that playing those schools sucks.

Great news! Aggies have needed a high profile game to end the season ever since the horns wimped out.

Nothing against Mizzou but the history and proximity wasn't there.

Arky-Mizzou to end the season could be good as the states border each other.

Anytime that weekend will be good. The horns can have thanksgiving to play whatever chump they select. I'll be watching NFL anyway.

You guys should consider it. The way you're being treated is bullshite.

The Big 12 would fall over itself to land a school like Arkansas.

Very surprised that LSU would agree/want another forced rivalry and agreed to having a tougher opponent as there last game. I'm glad they're finally being made to play a tough opponent to close out the season like all the other good programs (Bama vs Au; UGA vs GT; USCe vs CU; UF vs FSU and etc. )

It would be awesome if we could land Texas as our Thanksgiving game instead of Mizzou but unfortunately they are scared of playing anyone with a pulse on that weekend these days.

Again, wmr, it's not really my premise.

if you actually understood the situation, you would know that we wanted out of the SWC and wanted in the SEC in the early 90s

Texas is beneath Arkansas, IMO.

Well obviously. I don't think anyone would argue with you on that one.
