Finebaum was brutal on Miles for a while but he's actually changed his tune a lot over the last couple of years.
I've heard him rate Miles as one of the better coaches in the league and specifically say that you can't argue with his success.

Don't care about finebaum. He is about as respected around the country as Joe Schad who is a huge hack yet ESPN thinks his reporting is good. Great selective articles you provided from 3-4 years ago as well.

Finebaum is a professional troll and used his skills to perfection, as he started his "make fun of all SEC teams but bama" program. Got all the nut jobs from bama behind him and all the loose screws for Auburn against him. Presto, his hate based show is born in Bamaland and begins to grow. As time went on he realized he would have to level off his vitriole against AU,LSU et al, to be able to attract,keep and grow a football based call-in show....wallah...signs w/ ESPN

He's right about Les though. We're still a sleeping giant even at 85-21. It's going to get really ugly for the rest of the West when he's gone and we get a real coach in here. DWI chumps
