While the jury is still out on some, we can say with certainty that lots of value is placed on out coaches. Do they really deserve the credit? Ad do some get unfair credit one way or another? Could Saban win one NC at Ole Miss, for example? Or two at UGA? Could Miles win at Bama? Miles seems to get less credit than most coaches out there, and I'm not sure that's warranted. Petrino seemed to show he was worth a number of wins per season, but was it all him.

Mainly, I wonder if anyone knows how coaches are valued by departments. There has to be a process with some consistency.

Damn, you really got down on your calculator. Thanks for the insight. Better luck landing Gruden in 2015.

Do you think that's true? It is just hard to figure the other things in to the equation.

I would hate to see Miles at Bama when he has the refs and schedules in his favor. Not to mention all the Louisiana recruiting ties.

I don't know, was in a getting rustled frame of mind I reckon. It just seemed overly shallow as a troll attempt. I was more rustled by the lack of trying than the false content.

Calipari could win a National Title at either of the Mississippi schools, probably.

I feel ya. I was that way on the AJ Saban Bear Namath thread. But back to the OT........money wise, if Nick Saban had stock options, he would probably own about the entire Western Hemisphere

He reminds me of Stannis Baratheon, except successful. Maybe the Lannister grandpa...

Probably so. I mean look at Louisville with Petino. I am no Kentucky person, but seems unlikely they could be so good. Although football is even more surprising there IMO.

Saban would definitely be Tywin Lannister.

ETA: Or Tyrion if this is based solely on height.
