Even the oddsmakers said so. Several oddsmakers came-out after the game and said all of the above would have been favored against Notre Dame in that game.

Were Florida and LSU favored in their respective bowl games?

Good list. Vandy would probably have won. I can't see ole miss beating them though

None.

Didn't you see the pre-game ND pep rally? Didn't you hear Golic, Theisman, and Holtz?

ND was the greatest team of all time. Alabama was lucky.

Something tells me you know this answer to your respective question.

This is how I know you're a fricking moron. The transitive property doesn't work in football. Do you know what the transitive property is?

They were incredibly lucky they got Mizzou and UT. Had A&M and Alabama flipped schedules, Alabama would have been playing Louisville in New Orleans.

Huh? Transitive? I'm just saying A&M would have beat UT and Alabama would have beat Florida. A 1 loss Alabama, without a rigged schedule, would not go to Atlanta in favor of a Texas A&M team that stomped Bama. There is no transitive property, just SEC official rules about who represents the division in the Championship Game.

State, Vandy and Tennessee would hang, but I think Notre Dame would win.

Thoughts?

Would all those teams have beaten Stanford and Oklahoma last year too? I mean is that a joke?

Saban prepares for bowl games extremely well. He almost seems to be in the other teams huddle at times because of how his staff scouts the opponent.

I think Bama/UGA/A&M are for sure. They would just outscore ND

The rest of those teams lack offense too often to say for sure they could beat ND. I think UF/LSU/USC last year were about equal to Stanford, and those games would be close with ND

Same Pittsburgh team that Notre Dame needed a horribly blown call to beat (when Pitt missed the field goal, Notre Dame had two players on the field at the same time wearing the same number, which is a 15-yard illegal participation penalty) got slaughtered by Ole Miss.

ND was extremely overrated. They were not a good team.

For me, the media circus building Notre Dame up to epic proportions was disgusting....

I think quite a few teams would have beaten Notre Dame....LSU, Florida, and Georgia would have handled them easy...A&M would have smoked them bad, like 50-20

I think Ole Miss, Miss St., and South Carolina all would have beaten ND...

They had no business being in the Championship game, and would have had an early exit in a playoff

Do you think Stanford/Oklahoma/Michigan were that bad last year? ND beat all of them. I'm not saying only 1 team from the SEC would beat ND, because I think 3 or more would, but just to say "of course" because Bama beat them by 30 without looking at NDs resume, which was not bad, is stupid

Everyone knows that if Bama beats anyone then they were overrated.

ya I do...I don't think Stanford is as good without Harbaugh as coach, and Luck at QB. Oklahoma got absolutely smoked by Texas A&M....Michigan has taken a hard step back since the Lloyd Carr days. Michigan fell into the trap of not being happy with what was given...ala Tennessee with Phil Fulmer, or Ohio State back in the day with John Cooper

Notre Dame barely got by Pitt and BYU last year...they just weren't NC material. Their vaunted front seven was a myth...Alabama just bulldozed over them. I am sure Manziel, Murray, and even LSU's and Florida's offenses would have caused them problems
