Maybe A&M can play them every year instead. Im sure LSU will trade whoever yall's permanent east opponent is.

As long as we can play AU and UT, I don't care who else we play or anyone else plays.

I will make it my life's goal to ruin everything Slive loves if UGA-Auburn is not played every year all because Miles is scared.

Im down with this. Heres a possible solution: Eliminate divisions, let teams who want permanent opponents keep them, play the rest of the games on a rotating schedule. The top 2 teams play in the SECCG.

I think the Big 10, in addition to going to 9 games, has also maintained only 1 or 2 of the cross division "rivalries", while every other team has 3 rotating teams instead of 2.

Not sure why the SEC can't do the same...everyone wins

Alabama-Tennessee
Alabama-Auburn
Georgia-Auburn

Common denominator?

Umm no. No more permanent cross division opponents. Keep the schedules fair and balanced.

impossible with 14 teams. Just play your schedule and quit being the whiniest fan base in the conference.

Alabama built the SEC. And Tennessee helped I guess. Everyone else can kiss our golden blue-blood arse. We shouldn't have to give up a historic rivalry just because one team thinks it's not important. And aTm has even less say in it than lsu

How bout we just let LSU and Alabama duke it out for 12 straight games. Those are the only two teams that matter in the SEC right now anyway.

Allow the teams that want to keep certain rivalry games to keep them just not at the expense of the entire SEC. SEC can easily make it happen.

If those 4 want to play every year (Bama vs UT, Auburn vs UGA), let them....At any given time, any can be good to very good. What if LSU ends up with UK, Vandy and Mizzou one year while Bama has to play a top 10 UT team, which they'll eventually be again? Thats Bama's problem, not yours.

To me, its not about avoiding better teams, its about not having a yearly "rivalry" game each year that isn't a rivalry at all (such as UF - LSU). Same goes for A&M-USC. Nothing against them, but I'd rather see 3 variable east teams each year as opposed to 2.
