Doesn't represent at least one of the final two teams playing for the trophy. Frankly, I think the SEC west is stacked well enough to knock itself out of the game this year.
Regardless the SEC ran the fricking table on BCS teams for a long stretch.

ESPN is going to love it when we don't win the NC, whenever that happens. It'll happen at some point, but I don't think we'll have more than 1-2 year drought when it does.

Calling it. Ole Miss will have our best season ever and get to the national championship then be the first SEC team to lose to an OOC team in it and snapping the streak at the same time. And that OOC team will be Boise State or Ohio State.

If tOSU and Oregon run the table (which they may well do) and the SEC champ has at least one loss (which also may well be), I don't think there will be a public outcry. But I think there will be an underlying (national) sense the 2013 BCS CG is a farce.

I don't buy that for a second. Us missing out this year won't hurt either of us, but they can get all that air time to the rest of the country about the end of the SEC dynasty. Look how they tried to pump up USCw last year. OSU this year.
