Anyone else notice it seems like our football coaches are becoming more active on Twitter? Normally I wouldn't think anything of it, but if you look at D Craig's, it looks like he joined a few years ago, but has been tweeting a lot more recently.

Before this staff it didn't seem like there were that many, but I could be mistaken. I wonder if CGM encourages or even requires them to tweet. Personally, I think it is a great thing since so many recruits are on Twitter.

I think it's just the change in times.

As long as they aren't snapchatting, we're good.

do the actual coaches use those things?... i mean definitely lashlee is running his twitter (he posts pics of his kids all the time), but some of the other ones are just generic stuff that anyone could put out there.

as long as no one goes brett beilima and starts retweeting trolls, i see no issue with it.

I believe it is necessary to help stay connected to how most get or give info. Allows them to provide hype for the program without a direct contact to any one recruit as well. It at least gives them the appearance of being hip.

I'd bet Lashlee and Craig are the only ones that actually use theirs

that would be my guess... definitely not Malzahn... and the other guys are so old, I don't think they've got the time for twitter.

It's basically an app on smart phones that allows a user to send a picture, usually of themselves, with a short message. Once the image is opened, a timer set by the sender starts, usually between 2-9 seconds. Once its out the image is no longer viewable, essentially a 'self-destructing' message.

Word on the street is people use it to send sexy pics to other people since the messages are viewable only once.

What I was kinda saying was, Lashlee and Craig are actually in control of theirs, most of the other guys get people to run their accounts for them.

Yes, I've noticed.

Someone needs to show Craig how to remove the FSU stuff from his though.

Gus tweeted about going to a spin class this morning. I'd bet it's safe to say he's running his.

Yep...it alerts the sender that you have taken a screenshot.

In any event, I'd expect to see a lot more twitter stuff in the coming years from everybody, Auburn staff included. As long as no one does what Joker does...that crap weirds me out, man.

The ones I've seen of his all end in an exclamation point. It kinda cracks me up. They're like....

Can't wait to get out there today! Great day for practice!

Gus was the first to tweet when a letter came through the fax on signing day. He broke the news before the other guys did.
