Our OC is going to visit him this week and we extended him an offer. Never heard about him and don't know if we even have a chance. He is rated highly so I had a few questions though
How does he stack up and does he live up to his ranking?

Where does Volquest think he is going?
Where do rational UTk fans think he is going?
What other schools are involved?

He's our #1 WR target for this class, atleast this early on. Check out his video though he's a hell of a play maker.
Where does Volquest think he is going?
Paul and Brent have said recently that his recruitment is wide open

To be honest I have no idea. I know we are one of his top schools and all the predictions for the crystal ball are on UT. Not to mention Gallatin is somewhat Nashville Metro so Hurd and Warton have been recruiting him pretty hard
What other schools are involved?
I've heard about Notre Dame, FSU, and OSU
ETA: At this point though, I don't think he's a UT Lock. We'll see

Thanks. Watched his highlights and damn he is good. Hopefully Auburn can get in and swing a Tennessee kid. I feel like we do a decent job of that once a year.
Tennessee is loaded this year

I believe he will move up in rankings and has a legitimate shot at a 5 star.

I've heard its UT and Notre Dame being basically tied although he hasnt officially narrowed his list down and is hard to read.

Yeah he's doing a great job at the camps and showing out. You guys might come up and snatch one up but I don't see it being anyone that's a an absolute stud in the state this year
Butchs number one mission when he took over was to lock TN back down which hasn't happened since Fulmer was here and he's doing a great job so far. I'd say we land 3 of the top 5 in state this year and with a little luck 4
1. Jalen Hurd - UT
2. Todd Kelly - UT
3. Josh Malone - I'd say 50% or ^ UT gets him, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him go to ND either
4.Alex Bars - I'd say this he is the least likely to go to UT. Dads played at ND, and has a brother and Penn St. and a brother at Michigan. Seems to really like the northern schools ( I'd say he signs with ND but UT is def. in play )
5.Charles Mosley - Seems like a Bama/UT battle. Saban got the jump, but Butch has pushing for him really hard since he got here. UT definitely in play in his recruitment too.
Tennessee is starting to play catch up with a few of the other states like SC,MS,AL with the Midstate Nashville area really blowing up the past 10 years. BIggest problem was Dooley couldn't keep any of the best talent in state, and I think CBJ will do a much much better job keeping the guys at home. The 2015 and 2016 classes look to be really solid as well.

He has absolutely killed every camp he's been to. He's surprisingly strong and EXTREMELY smooth. He's really quiet about his recruitment but the general assumption is that UT leads but Notre Dame and Miami are definitely heavy in the mix along with a few other schools. The scouts thinks he lands at Tennessee but he's not a lock by any means.

Josh Malone:
From Tennessee, Malone may not have the top-end speed of a Justin Hunter, but he does show Cordarrelle Patterson's RAC skills.
This is not a hard pick, as Malone is from Tennessee, the Vols need to bolster the WR depth chart and Butch Jones will run a version of the spread offense. Malone first best in Knoxville and should join Todd Kelly Jr. and Jalen Hurd as stud prospects from inside the state who sign up to bring Rocky Top back.
ETA: I think his dad played for Miami
