Tim Hudson donates 1 million dollars to AU for clubhouse upgrades.

AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn will upgrade the clubhouse for the baseball program in the offseason, athletics director Jay Jacobs announced Tuesday.
The $1 million upgrade will be made possible with a donation from former Auburn pitcher Tim Hudson and wife Kim. The couple donated the funds needed to construct the facility, Jacobs said Tuesday during an appearance at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
The upgrade is part of Auburn's master plan for the facility.
"What Tim and Kim Hudson has done is the first step of that," Jacobs said.
The clubhouse "hasn't been touched in 10 years" with upgrades "and it's the most used place in the facility," Jacobs added. Jacobs believes it will help the Tigers' recruiting efforts, too.
Hudson, currently with the Atlanta Braves, has remained close to the program since his departure in 1997.
Construction at Plainsman Park will begin following the season.
The baseball team concludes the regular season this week with a game tonight against Jacksonville State and a three-game series against Arkansas beginning Thursday.

The Hudsons are a class act. He is definitely my favorite Brave. Loved getting to see Ross catch Huddy several times last year.
