That should scare the shite out of you if he is JUCO bound.
Our JUCO : HS player success/contribution ratio in the past five years is ridiculously high.
(Cam Newton/Nick Fairley/BrandonMosely/Eltoro Freeman) : Corey Lemonier?
You should hope he qualifies
Looks like that history dictates 50/50, as only 2 of those were re-signees.
Another way of looking at it, last 2 JuCo DEs to sign with Auburn in the last 5 years were:
Raven Gray
Joel Bonomolo
Or the last DE Auburn signed out of Mobile that had to go to JuCo and never returned, Terrance Coleman.
Parallels are fun

Good Pickup Auburn. Hell of a player.

Did you eat paint chips as a child son? Clearly you did not understand the ratio was juco to hs
Auburns good players all seemed to be JUCO players. We get guys like Jake Holland Keihl Frazier when we sign HS players

Good to see Auburn starting to re-establish a presence in Mobile with Dameyune Craig.
The battle in Mobile becoming less lop-sided in Bama's favor will help the Auburn and Bama rivalry to get back to being more competitive than it has been the past 4 or so years (except Cam).

That's more on the previous coaches than the players. We've got players. They just need to be de-pussified and they'll be fine. New staff is getting that done.

Recruiting is fun, but I'm more interested in how this new staff develops the players. I'll take a bunch of 3 stars fully developed compared to bunch of 4 & 5 stars who don't amount to shite.

That may be the case, but I wouldn't base that on what has transpired recently.

Well, no. But it certainly hasn't helped Auburns cause that Bama has been cleaning house in Mobile

I meant that Auburn landing three players from Mobile recently hasn't just changed things over night in Mobile.

Having Craig is making a difference....

Don't know how you can't say things haven't changed a bit...AU owned Mobile for years under Tubs, only to see it disapate once he left. Dameyune has gotten every Uplayer he wants so far...even when he was at FSU.

He certainly has but I think Lance Thompson is up to the task to defend Mobile.

If it continues, it certainly has changed. But Tre Williams has been the only real battle.

While Tre has been the only battle, DC is batting a .1000 on all of his recruits from Mobile. Recruiting is more than just a UA/AU battle. He's beaten numerous SEC teams, which is what we mean by him owning Mobile.

Oh I know, I only said Auburn is starting to make some noise and have a presence again with Craig on staff.
Connections that lead to programs having whoever they want from an area take years to develop. Either that or they have a coach or a couple of coaches that just have great ability when it comes to recruiting and already established connections that can come in and change the guard overnight. I think this is what we have witnessed in New Orleans since Frank Wilson has been brought on at LSU.
Craig at Auburn might just be a perfect storm, but Bama and Lance Thompson wont go down without a fight, like you said.
I see Mobile as a place of some fierce recruiting battles between the two instate schools in Alabama in the near future.

LThompson was recruiting JCasher and JThornton, along with Tre, was he not? With an assist on Casher by Cristobal, and by Kirby on Tre?

Really?
Alabama has had multiple first round NFL draft picks from the Mobile area. They've signed just about everyone they want from there for 6 years. But Craig owns it after 1/4 a recruiting cycle. It is not going to be handed over like that. Wow.

Casher didn't even have an offer from Alabama when he chose Auburn. He does now, but contrary to popular belief most kids don't flip after making a commitment. Not much we can do there, but he'll continue to be recruited.
Thornton has never had an Alabama offer.
Tre Williams did have an offer.
