Aside from the obvious "Rant OTB" answers, what are you currently reading?
I'm in the middle of a re-read of the Song of Ice and Fire series with another Ranter (we're on Clash of Kings). Also reading this inbetween:

Is Boys of Summer good? I need a book for my Baseball Communication class. I've ordered one through the University library system (Illiad) that's supposed to ship it in from another library, but no progress as of yet. So I probably need another one.
I'm currently re-reading Devil in the White City

I've really enjoyed it so far. I'd definitely recommend it.

That book is on one of our bookshelves. I haven't touched it and likely wont though.

Tried reading it before I watched the TV show but it jumps around so damn much it was hard for me 2 follow.
Now that I've watched the TV show it's a lot easier for me to read.

The first season is what convinced me to pick up the books and I had the intention of just reading as the show progressed.Picked up one and I was hooked.

Currently on the second book of the A Song of Ice and Fire series (A Clash of Kings). When I'm done with the series it could very well be my favorite book series. I love it so far.

You catch a LOT more the 2nd time through. Martin's use of the POV approach makes it a bit tricky to pick up on certain things, as well...

The Black Echo by Michael Connelly.
I've been reading a bunch of James Patterson lately and started to get burned out on him.

Just finished The Skeleton Coast by Clive Cussler. About to start on The Jungle.

I have over 30 of Clive's books. Skeleton Coast is good. The Jungle is excellent. I really enjoy his style, even when others are doing most of the heavy lifting these days.
When I was younger I was all about Louis L'amour, have over 100 of his books(some multiples).
I tend to collect. I also have all but 4 of Stephen R Lawhead's books. He is an excellent High Fantasy writer. same with Morgan LLywelyn. I'm currently reading her fantasy biography, The Lion of Ireland. Her idea of the life of Brian Boru, an ancient king of Ireland.
