With whoever follows him, that will be 4 different beat writers in, what? Two years?

Columbus Georgia is a shithole but at least it is getting better. The riverwalk and "uptown" (so retarded) is at least getting pretty nice.
Also, I enjoy the few times I have been kayaking and am excited to learn how to whitewater kayak in Columbus this summer

Yeah, "old" Columbus (the south side) is a shithole.
North Columbus? Not so much... typical suburbia.
Columbus used to be a whole lot better until they changed the city statutes so that the strippers could no longer get fully nude.

I doubt the AU beat writer actually lived in Columbus. Most of the beat guys probably live in auburn.
