is this new, or the thing jacobs talked about in 2009ish

also...don't take away the ramp view...it's nice to have a place you can go and have a hissy fit and still watch the game.

Is the new upper deck pictured over the student section or the other endzone?

I would imagine that that would put J-H to somewhere around 96-97K?

The exterior is awesome and would really enhance the stadium. We don't need an endzone upperdeck.

We need more student seating, which isn't going to come without adding more general seats. Boxes in one endzone is a good decision.

But yeah, I'd take the exterior improvements a thousand times over expansion - not that I don't want it, but JH looks like a dump and it makes me sad.

Agreed. If we had an endzone upperdeck, it'd be 2/3 empty for cupcake games, and half full of visiting fans for big games(bama/uga/lsu, etc).

Make the exterior and concourse nicer, improved screens in both endzones and maybe add enough to get us to 90k, and that's all we need right now. Make the student section about 2-3k seats bigger, and add on a maybe 10-15 rows in each endzone to make up for that 2-3k, or however many rows it would take.

And if we wanted boxes in one endzone, I'd be fine with that, because the ticket price of those would pay for themselves over time.

Sorry to have to break it to y'all, but student seating in future plans like this is the least of their worries.

Know what they are more concerned with? Enhanced revenue. And that don't come from putting more student butts in the stadium (though they may well do that anyway if they add 9-10K more seats).
