Same here. After that last final it tends to turn into a shite show pretty quickly.

What's got you in a drinking mood belle?

I'm running an immunization clinic this morning and it's about half a clusterfrick because one of the other counselors bogarted the area I'm using (it has to be partitioned off for privacy purposes and there's only a couple places to do that in the building). So I'm scrambling around at the last minute trying to get that shite together.

We still have kids enrolling with 3 weeks of school left. And most that are walking in the door are failing (which when we report those numbers that counts against us even though they're just now enrolling with us).

My co-workers are about to drive me up a fricking wall because a couple that I work with half-arse everything. There's nothing more infuriating.

And then there's shite outside of work, but you'll have to forgive me for not putting that all out on the interwebz at the moment.

Yeah I am. Tupelo is known as the preppy school of North MS so with most of my teachers if they find out you have done something (drink, smoke, etc) they act as if you are doomed for hell

Education-it blows. I'd have to do like the old high school principle and keep a nice buzz through the day to put up with that bs.

Unfortunately we have to be like that. Because the minute we "let it slide" some dipshit parent will try to have our job over it.

Morning all.

Got my graduate committee meeting in an hour. Gotta present my research proposal.

Not too sure how this will go.

Couldn't be any more perfect in describing this school. A parent spent tons of money/time getting one of the best teachers we had here because he didn't punish his team for putting bananas with condoms all over her daughters' car. Her daughter had started it by egging the team members' cars while the team was together one night.

Well there is a slight difference here. One shows poor judgement and use of a common egg to pull a prank. Worst possible outcome is it takes paint off. The other involves a sexual or sensual item enclosed around a piece of fruit. While it appears harmless and most likely was, to some eyes it's deemed premeditated sexual harassment. In laymen's terms you're calling his/her daughter a whore. People have been sued over much less. Most likely the parent over reacted, but I hope you can see the difference in the chosen methods of their harmless practical jokes. It all about how it's perceived.

Yes, I can see where you are coming from here. The parent had been pushing for his job for about 3 years and now has his job. I see what you are saying though

Agreed Belle not enough Bourbon

We lost a close friend yesterday, our dog Bella for the last 4 years got out of the fence and was hit by a car yesterday so on my lunch yesterday I had to come home and console my wife and daughter and bury the dog

It was a terrible day & I'm always an optimistic guy but yesterday was rough

Then Ronde Barber announced his retirement (I wanted him to join the "No Fly Zone" and play 1 more yr ) but I could never be mad at another 1st ballot HOFer for the Buccaneers

Hopefully today will be a lot better day

While it bums me out, I'm just glad he was able to retire with the Bucs. And glad he got a Super Bowl ring.

Sorry about all the other stuff. That sucks.
