I wouldn't mind playing TCU.
I like the SMU game as well and wouldn't be surprised if we set up more games with them.
The Sam Houston game however...

ah just looked, Tech series will be 14-15 home and home. not confirmed though. I like the strategy of playing a Texas big 12 team every year.

yeah, I'm not really sure where the hate for SMU comes from. They had a rough go for a while but have been to a bowl 4 straight years (winning 3 of those). They also are a Big East/AAC member and have been pretty competitive with TCU the last few years (including beating them at Amon Carter).

it's done. Really nice. There is still a ton of construction around campus though which makes getting in and out of the area a major pain in the arse. But fits right in with the rest of DFW I suppose

I hate that game for many reasons.
The biggest is b/c its an FCS matchup. DO NOT WANT. IDGAF that they are a cheap rent a win. Nevermind that with the SECN about to start the excuse that we need those cheap games to balance the schedule while easing the financial burden flys right the hell out the window. The only excuse I would accept that involves money is if they start up several other non revenue sports and we all know that is very unlikely.
Their uniforms are ugly as all get out. If I'm going to be subjected to a bullshite FCS team, at least make it a team that doesn't blind me with bright orange puke colors.
Also, I agree that they acted like complete d-bags last year with constant shite talk and tons of late cheap shots. While CMike acted like a baby most of the year I was super pumped when he tossed that jackass SHSU player to the turf and stood over him like he'd just knocked his arse out.

The SW Classic gave us a taste of Texan blood and tears again, it's delicious. Much like the Tuna school that acquired a taste for Lion flesh in 'The Other Guys', we're establishing a beachhead, going in for an hour 45 at a time and ravaging Texas teams.
I'm glad A&M's in the conference, thanks for reminding us how fun it is to whip Texas teams.
