Link?
ETA: I've never made that claim. I prefer scout to rivals.

I didn't say you made that claim -- but a significant portion of your fanbase believes it.
I think Scout halfass scouts MS -- and they generally overrate those players. And Rivals halfass scouts MS -- and they generally underrate those players. This results in the skew between our rankings(mostly MS kids -- favoring scout) and your rankings(many more OOS kids -- favoring rivals)..
When it comes to player evaluations, I look at 24/7 -- and the rest of them just for supporting evidence... At least on the MS kids. When you've got regional and national analysts at every summer camp at both OM and MSU, and games every Friday, you get a much better actual evaluation of those players. That's why they were 4-5 months ahead of everybody else on the Chris Jones bandwagon...

If State has so many elite running backs, how come they're never great at running the ball sans an option quarterback?
ETA: I'll give you Norwood. Boobie had 2 or 3 decent games. No more than Brandon Bolden

Well there's an actual explanation to Scout's rankings favoring State. Steve Robertson, who you know is a crazy State homer has the power to rank players in his region. He holds one of the highest positions at scout in terms of recruiting rankings. What is your explanation, not conspiracy, for Rivals dislike for MSU?

Just how young are you?

2 or 3 decent games? Boobie had 4k rushing yards over 4 years on 3 shittastic offenses ranked below #100 where he was the only weapon. He routinely gained tough yards against elite defenses when they ALL knew it was coming.
You are obviously too young to remember Griffith, JJ, McKinley, and Keffer -- so no need in me even bringing them up...

I can't recall a State running back having a career that could rival an actual elite back like Deuce McAllister.
State has had serviceable running backs over the years but to say they've had elite running backs is silly.

An average of 800 yards/season is supposed to be what in college? Average for the past 20 years at MSU -- that's what...
Deuce:
And for comparison here is JJ:
Here is Norwood:
Here is Dixon:
Feel free to point out to me in what way Deuce was superior as a collegiate player...

How old are you? Deuce is the best RB to come through MS since Walter Payton.
