Morning folks. Day 2 of my smallmouth trip to Lake Erie. Had some pigs yesterday. The weather is unreal do this area. 70 calm and sunny.

Unless he's hungry and broke, there's no reason to fish for walleye on Erie this time of year. It's supposed to be some of the best smallmouth fishing in the country up there this time of year.
Just found out I'm losing my scholarship over 8/10 of a gpa point. Awesome way to start the day out.

We don't fish for walleys but catch a few as we bass fish. We caught two the first day. One was over 8 pounds. I have some pics I will post when I get back.
We have done well today. We have over 20 smallmouths so far. I have one 5 pounds 3 ounces and Glen has one 5 pounds 11 ounces.
