And best concert ever? Freddie Mercury. And Queen. Live At Wembley Stadium.

You can't debate it. Just accept it.

Queen- Under Pressure- Live At Wembley.

Queen- Live At Wembley- Bohemian Rhapsody

Queen- Live At Wembley- We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions.

Queen- Live At Wembley- Who Wants To Live Forever

Damn, those were the good days of rock.

Yes ma'am. The Grizz win made the loss tolerable.

An NBA win never makes a Braves loss tolerable IMO.

But my childhood team is missing DRose. And the NBA sucks.

I'm older than you.

At least you know who Queen is.

I don't think that anyone could ever tell the audience "frick you" like Freddie could, and just get away with it.

Still fresh today, and that is not debatable.

Aside from a couple of songs, Queen sucks and Freddie Mercury was queer and there were A LOT better artists back then.

You suck at life, very few people care about a great talents sexuality, and there are very few, if any, that were/are better.

Mercury was a great frontman but you cant deny that had he not concealed his sexuality he would have been more popular. Would Robert Plant or David Lee Roth been as popular if they were gay?

FWIW, I dont give a shite if people are gay or not but back then it did matter.

His sexuality, and he was bi, shouldn't take away from the fact that he is one of the most dynamic and talented vocalists in all of rock.

The only new rock that holds up to the old rock, sounds like the old rock

Seems to be our common ground is rock music

There isn't much of that today, lurkr.

I'd take some Metallica or Pantera over todays music.

Im not saying he wasn't great but you have to put into perspective of his time. I am not a Queen fan but I will admit that he was dynamic and definitely talented but his sexuality will keep him from being considered the best rock vocalist/live performer.

I would rate Robert Plant, Elvis, and David Lee Roth ahead of Mercury.

Saw the title and had to check and make sure it was Freddie Mercury you were talking about. Otherwise you would receive a lashing.

It's really not close

Absofukinglutely.

Will it? And if it does, it is an absolute shame. A travesty, even.

I wouldn't. Mercury had amazing raw talent. Those guys, while being definitely talented, lacked Mercury's presence.

Just check out some of the stuff that he did sans Queen. The guy was a gem.

A friend of mines son came home one day to play a new cd from a new rock group and it is awesome. It turned out to be the latest AC/DC when they released it.

We were laughing our arse off at him.
