AJ McCarron has never been voted a team captain.
He's probably been a better role player than leader; Barrett Jones would never have pushed a leader that he respected.
As long as Alabama keeps talent on offense and doesn't lose too much, AJ's lack of honor by his teammates should not be a problem, IMO.

I agree with you - a lot of QB's have three rings, two as a starter and a national championship MVP award - all with a year left to play.
