I'm thinking it will be LSU and will go down something like this.
LSU & BAMA both end reg season with 1 loss, LSU goes to SECCG and losses to UGA.
UGA and Bama are in the playoffs. Bama wins the Crystal Ball. LSU Fans blow up the SEC offices in BHam.

Geez, yes I am poking LSU fans but it is still a very real possibility that the loser of the SECCG could get leaped by another team in their division.

That's the reason sec will go to 9 game schedule and get rid of sec title game

And give up the massive amount of cash they make on that game? No way in hell.

This scenario is more likely.
Undefeated Bama wins SECCG.
11-1 LSU loses to Bama in a very close night game in Baton Rouge.
Committee, not wanting a potential rematch, has 11-1 Oklahoma jump LSU in the rankings even though OU lost to a bad 5-7 Texas Tech team in September. LSU fans riot.

I think it will be Bama. You'll blow a game at some point and it'll keep you out even though you were the best team.

In the 4 team playoff there will always be someone who gets the proverbial shaft. Correct me if I'm wrong (because I'm lazy) but in last year's scenario the SEC would of have had the chance to have 3 out of 4 in the playoff? Even if we have two in the playoff every year and one is left out, that's perfectly okay. I think there will be very few one loss teams in the SEC from here on out, the competition is so strong in the SEC.

We're not your rival! Wut are you doing!?

I wish Bama fans would quit riding our coattails.

SECCG should be one of the semi-final games. SEC West #2 should be eligible for the other semi-final as well.

Sports Illustrated ran a mock selection for the NCG last Fall, using various AD's, former coaches, etc. One of the "selection committee" members was quoted as saying, based on their discussions, #1-2 would usually be fairly easy. However, the consensus was that #3-4 would probably not be that much different than 5-6-7, and that's where the bitching would get really bad. Basically saying the selection would be a cluster frick.
