Pre Season rankings are great to pass the time, but we'll see what happens in the season. Unlike the guy from Athlon, I think Davis will be a top 5 RB when it's all done. He'll only be getting about 70% or less of the carries, probably even less than that if Shaw stays healthy, but from what I saw last year and this spring he'll be breaking some long runs.

Keith Marshall at 4 might be a little high, but he is a stud. I got the privilege to go watch a uga spring practice. Marshall has gotten a lot bigger. To defend him vs high ranking competition, he probably had like 12 carries total vs uf, usc, and bama. Look at gurley's stats in that game. He ran for over atleast 120 vs bama and uf.

You better check with fellow bama fan sac, head to head doesn't count.

I'm talking about Sarc, he never said head to head wasn't important.

They finished 18 and 15, respectively, in yards last year. UT finished 8 in yards and 10 in rushing touchdowns. I must be missing something other than their line stinks, no?

Tennessee had one of the best O-lines in the nation. Every starter on the line last year is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rounder.

They also had the best O-line coach in the nation in Sam Pittman, who Jones did not retain and is now at Arkansas.

by season's end Blue may be #1 in the conference.

Definitely has the talent. It's really a question of him getting enough carries and staying healthy.

I'm hoping DH can jump Drake.

Why? From what I've seen in the games he's played I really like Drakes skill set. He can be a great backup for TJ.

Haven't seen much of Tennessee's running backs...but I think Tre Mason should be ranked higher.

But how many teams besides LSU/TAMU have three RBs in the top 20?

Does that count for something? After all, you said the list seems accurate.

Hell yes, hang a fricking banner and make a ring!

Agreed. Kind of a strange thing to hope for.
