How would you handle your recruiting process?

Keep in mind these options aren't the only way to make your decision but they pan out this way more often than not.

Commit early, focus on academics, and help the team of your choice in recruiting future teammates? Maybe enroll early?

Wait until NSD or the high school all-star game, take multiple official visits, and announcing in front of the nation?

Nowadays, it's nearly a 2 year long process and I can't imagine the stress that would come with it. That being said, I'd commit as early as I felt comfortable with my decision.

I don't like speaking in front people in my office...no way I could do the whole "look at me" bullshite. Try to enroll early.

Well if I am the person I am now I commit early and help recruit, focus on academics...if this scenario is based on when I was 18, who knows...

Probably be a NSD commit...

If I was a QB, I'd commit early and recruit. If not, I'd keep everyone guessing until the end

I'd let Tennessee know I was 100% going there, but would take my visits to the 5 schools with the hottest women during the season and commit officially commit in December.

1) Commit early in private (silent) to the staff of the school of choice. Then the fun starts.

2) Go totally radio silent. Only talk about recruiting to close friends and family. No media or twitter or any of that.

3) Take many random visits to schools all over the place. Try to keep visits to the school you committed to secret. Info would inevitably leak but that would only further the confusion of fans and media.

4) A week before all-star game, start granting interviews to anybody and everybody, giving groups of top schools that are totally random and constantly in flux. Never include the school you committed to, but keep that school informed that you're just fricking with everyone.

5) Start recruiting behind-the-scenes for school of choice.

6) Have planned all-star game announcement. Cancel it at last minute.

7) Go public for real school of choice on NSD on TV. Watch the lulz happen.

I just think it would be funny to mock the whole process.

I would milk it for all its worth.
Like say I was a 5 star RB out of Nola, and I knew where I wanted to go was close by, but another top school wanted me....I would pretend the decision was 50/50 just for the experience.

1. Commit early
2. Start rumor that I may be looking to switch to Miami, USCw, Oregon, Bama, Arizona State
3. Visit each of those schools
4. ?????
5. Profit.
6. Stay committed to original school.

Commit on NSD by being flown in like Srange' did on "Boomerang". Have a hat in a bag in a box in a bag in a box in a bag in a box in a bag in a box in a bag, just to trump the douchebaggery of Dre Kirkpatrick. Verbally commit but not sign. Have an unveiling like LeBron in Miami. Release a rap album. Never play and then direct my own "30 for 30" autobiography about how I was "the most best that never was".

Honestly- commit early and sign with my parents in attendance on NSD. Not be a douche and draw attention to myself.

It depends if I knew where I wanted to go. If I was fairly sure, I would commit early. But I don't know if I would be so decisive.

Lolz, I almost said those books weren't out in 98... but I would've been wrong. There are only a small handful who get paid to swim, so I was debating going to an elite academic school to get my nerd on.

I would commit at least 2 separate times to different teams and then choose another on NSD. Personally I would make it the biggest circus imaginable all while taking in everything that I can get.
