Educate me about him, he was a safety in the late 60's, an Auburn fan lists him as a bar fighter on SECR. Google turns up stuff about him traveling the world and fishing alot, which is really cool.
I'm in my 30's, a young buck.
Some of yall older fellas please tell me about his bar fighting days, and why he has this reputation to an Auburn fan on SECR.

May be one of the smartest guys ever to play at UGA...

He is infamous for being an All American Safety, "the most talented player [Dooley] ever coached," the Super Bowl MVP of the undefeated Dolphins, drove over Stegman on his motorcycle (no kidding, it really happened), and he basically went into hiding on an island in Hawaii until he was inducted into the college hall of fame a couple of years ago.

Basically he was from that bygone era where college football players got into trouble and the town didn't care and it didn't make national news, boys will be boys and whatnot.
Jake was your typical All American badass..drinkin, fighting, cussin and spittin. He drove his motorcycle up the top of Stegeman (which is why to this day there's that little gate/fence thingy on the pillars). He was a Super Bowl MVP, and after he retired he basically lived as a recluse in Hawaii. He was quoted as saying "the hardest decision I make everyday is deciding when I wake up whether to start fishing or getting drunk".
But yeah I wouldn't have wanted to brawl against him back in the day.

" A Colorado mountain man once heard Scott was a football player and picked a bar fight, saying, "I'm the toughest guy in here." Scott dropped him like a shirt off a hanger, and then asked, "No one's tougher in here than him?

Scott drains the last gulp of Budweiser, puts the bottle down and opens his hands, palms up: "That's it. There's no big mystery. I'm just living the simple life I saw." He stands up, shakes hands and walks out the door.
