Would LSU be any better than Mississippi State?

I know, I know...

But seriously... Seems like being the only SEC school in a state like Louisiana is a much bigger advantage than having the conference headquarters in your borders.

Even crazier is that schools like Bama and Auburn are able to win championships nearly yearly in a state that is usually ranked #49 right ahead of MS in most metrics.

Just whatever.

I'm having trouble focusing on your OP with that horrendous frog with wings gif.

Resize that shite down.

I've said several times on here the fictional ole state bear grinders would be a force and have a hell of a program. MS football is killed by being split between two schools

I think a more likely question would be:

Southern Miss to the Big XII. Do they make a run at the Rebs and State?

In your scenario it would take a looking time for any impact.

Tulane, La Laff, La Monroe, and La Tech are not BCS schools

Tulane didn't join the Big East in football with East Carolina?

Checks google...

Yes they did.

Good point.

But with the new playoff, it won't matter. BCS going bye bye.

On the same day BCS officials announced they were moving toward a four-team playoff, they also made official the news no Big East fan wanted to hear. There will no longer be AQ designations for any conference, potentially making it harder for the Big East to get one of its teams into a marquee bowl game every season.

At the time, Louisville, Syracuse would have still been in it with Boise and SMU, IIRC, not a "major" conference, but more legit than CONUSA.

Clearly I need to obsess more over the teams people think are LSU's rivals

I can't see how it will matter for Tulane though. They are absolutely terrible and wasting their time trying to compete with football factories. Tulane should re-evaluate their football program and probably either eliminate it or at least reduce it to division II or III

People think Arkansas is your rival and your sig pic doesn't dispute that.
