Has anyone had such a strange series of sweeps as SC has had thus far?

Not sure if any non-SC fan has noticed how bizarre SC's SEC results have been thus far?
Win 2/3 @ Mizzou, ok that's fine, but then it's been nothing but sweeps since that 1st weekend.
Arky: Swept
A&M: Sweep
@UT: Sweep
@UF: Swept
UK: Sweep
I guess the only time I've seen so many weekend sweeps by one team is because they're really good and are sweeping a lot or really bad and getting swept a lot. I can't remember the last time I've seen a team exchange such results.
And it can't be because the opponent level has dramatically changed week after week (sans UT). These are the records of those 5 teams without their results vs SC.
Arky: 8-7
A&M: 7-8
UT: 5-10
UF: 7-8
UK: 7-8
Nothing really of substance, just thought it was a bizarre finish to the last 5 SEC series for SC.

I don't think there will be a sweep either way this weekend

I was just talking about that yesterday with QCC. Been a weird season so far. Hopefully we can win one or two this weekend.

They call it inconsistency

Definitely weird. Baseball isn't a game where you expect a lot of sweeps at all. And SC isn't a team I'd expect to see .
edit- at this point, I'd wonder how much this affects your game one starter. It seems the entire weekend depends on him.

That would make for a strange season.

Inconsistency is Enemy #1 of the post season, I hope we get this fixed before then.

LSU is pissed, so I see a sweep coming SC's way.
Oh and if you win one game, please don't dogpile...let the gumps embarrass themselves doing that.

I like LSU's chances with the way they've pummeled LHP this year

LOL. We have been national champions 2/3 years and national runner up last year. I guarantee you there will be no dogpile. If anything, LSU will be more excited having beat us.

So who has been your most consistent wkend starter? Is your closer as good as that stud you lost from last yr?(finally)

Excited like last year when we won on your home field to clinch the SEC title?

Belcher & Monty have both been very consistent this season. Webb has actually been better than Price in the closing role this season imo.
I think we steal 1 but thats all, once you dont have to face Westy & Webb in the pen its game over for us.

Most consistent starter has definitely been Nolan Belcher. Jordan Montgomery was our "ace" coming into the season, however after the first few series he had arm fatigue and just came back recently. I think he has had 2 starts since he has been back and has been pretty effective. We have no one like Price in the bullpen. Tyler Webb is very solid as he was the 1,2 Punch with Matt Price at the end of games last year and has taken over the closer role. He is an All American type. We have gotten great bullpen outtings from Adam Westmoreland which has been a pleasant surprise, but other than those 2 the bullpen has left a little to be desired.
The struggles of Colby Homes (weekend and playoff starter last year) have really hurt us get a conistent rotation(along with the injury to Montogomery) but we got a great start Sunday against Kentucky out of Wynkoop, the freshmen. Coach Holbrook said he was going to keep things the same this weekend since we got the sweep last weekend.
Game 1 starter-Belcher
Game 2 starter-Montgomery
Game 3 starter-Wynkoop

I agree numbers wise, above when I said we had no one like Price in the pen, I mainly meant a right hander that can run it up there a little bit and give you a 3 inning save..
Price and Webb to end a game
