#2 ranked Alabama men's golf team starts it national championship run today by defending it's SEC championship this weekend.

I would think we should kick arse at the country club sports, right? Seriously we are normally pretty good in golf, but obviously not today.

Outdoors, UF should attract top golfers but I was corrected - #8 nationally. Bama fell apart late - 2 under after 15, ended 3 over.

They are about to tee-off in an hour at Sea Island's Seaside ... today is what counts. It's cool out there for the early guys - wind is blowing and it'll still be below 60 degrees. By the time the leaders tee off after lunch the wind will have died-down some and it'll be warmer.
It's gonna be a tough day to play catch-up but who knows, this tourney can change in a hurry on the final day.

Dang ... just found-out that they have already tee'd-off because they wanted the teams home early tonight for school tomorrow.
