I'll take anything mildly positive about our vols,
even better if it is about surpassing the pigs

Arky is about to drop even further when Nolan updates for this second loss...
If they don't win at least 7 of the final 10 road games, even going undefeated at home won't save them from an RPI standpoint.
MUST go at least 7-3 on the road and 10-2 at home to get RPI presentable to get into serious hosting conversation(per Boyd RPI needs report)...

People who follow college baseball would have laffed at you if you said before the season started that Tennessee would have a better RPI than Arkansas at this point in the season.
Can the BaseVols get above .500 and sneak in the NCAAs?

Oh, Auburn is now in top 50 RPI for this weekend's series against MSU.
Only 5 SEC teams have winning records against RPI top 50.
LSU 12-1
Vandy 12-3
MSU 11-7
Kentucky 9-6
USC 5-4

You know, the funny thing -- in looking at Boyd's RPI Needs Report that came out today for the first time this season, UF is the ONLY school left that has to win at a lower percentage than MSU does to lock into the RPI top 8. That's two-fold though, in that you don't have to win as much -- but the upcoming SOS is going to be alot more of a bitch(at least according to RPI).
I'll go through later and figure out exactly what is required of UF to finish in the RPI top 8...
