It sets up nicely for Arkansas to get on a good run to finish the season. Sitting 2nd in the West now with a shot to finish 3rd in the conference overall.

Remaining SEC schedule:
aTm
@UGA
@UK
Tennessee
@Auburn

Arkansas has a shot at going 13-2 best case or 10-5 worst case IMO to finish out the conference slate. A 13-2 finish puts the Hogs at 22-8 and 10-5 puts them at 19-11.

Midweek games also look with Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Mizzou State. All top 77 RPI teams with OU being the highest at 22.

IMO Hogs finish 12-3 in SEC play, being 21-9 go 3-1 OOC and finish 40-16 overall....

I think we sweep aTm this weekend at home and drop another one some place.

Could Arkansas go 22-8 or 21-9 or 20-10 in conference play and not host?

I think the SEC gets 3 hosts sites this year

Don't really see anything wrong with your opinion. Don't know what your midweek pitching vs. OU/Neb is like, but if it can hold your weekend rotation's jock I gotta believe you stand a good chance at 3-0 in OOC. Kentucky is in a bit of free fall the last two weekends. It'll be interesting to see what they do as well. As long as you don't shite the bed I could see a strong argument for 13-2. You swept USC @USC so you have a case for being strong on the road. Odd thing is your two series losses were both at home. "If" you sweep aTm I could see 10-2 odds at 2/1.

Yea, Hogs only 1 true road loss this season at Alabama.

4 OOC games. Doubleheader today with Nebraska in Lincoln.

I think 12-3 is a realistic goal. The good thing is they should be able to accumulate some wins. The bad part is they won't get much of an RPI boost from those wins. It may be enough to get into hosting consideration, but RPI probably keeps the top 8 out of reach.

I think Arkansas could lose that UK series. I wouldnt be surprised if yall swept aTm, Aub or UGA, but I wouldn't count on it. I'd say worst case Arkansas goes 9-6 to finish. 12-3 would be possible.

Looks about right. @Georgia and @Auburn would be impressive to sweep both.

Uhm, it would be impressive if either team prevented the sweep....

Arkansas should mop the floor with Kentucky as well.

The Hogs should finish really strong with those teams remaining. UK stands out as a possible tough series but they've really looked like shite the last two weekends. It'll be interesting to see how they rebound. I don't know who they have left.

Fairly easy remaining schedule. Could be 11-13 wins.

A&M - 2-1
@UGA - 2-1
@UK - 2-1
Tenn - sweep
@Aub - sweep

12-3. Was thinking about A&M as a sweep cause of home crowd.

Arkansas baseball is like bizarro Arkansas basketball in terms of wins at home and on the road.

The schedule did work out that way, but you're right.

Got to think they'll be favored in almost every game left on the schedule. Sure they'll give up a few, thats baseball, but I like their chances to finish really well.

Seems like the Hawgs found an answer for the INF issues. I would side with them finishing @ 20-10.

Have to get to 20-10 in the SEC and win all the midweek games to have a shot at hosting

I think they can do it- I think the Pigs can go 11-4 down the stretch in the SEC

my side - your defense is the worst that i have seen for a good ball club. will bit you & cause your resume to be poor. your offense is average & pitching is carrying you
kentucky has good pitching & i do not think you can sweep them
