Feel free to add a position I left off and add a players to the list. Please don't flame if you feel my listed players are wrong. I'm sure some are but these type of list are subjective. Anyway hope that this is a good thread.

I'm going to assume 1992 because that is when the SEC moved to 12 teams and not because it is some arbitrary date when we happened to win a national title.
WR- AJ Green, Julio Jones

Yes expansion is the reason for that date and it seems more relevant with the boards age demographic. We can change to all time if everyone prefers.

Oher gets a lot of undeserved press for his story. You have to think along the lines of Marcus McNeil, Max Jean-Gilles, Shawn Andrews, Andrew Whitworth, Luke Joeckel, Andre Smith, Chris Samuels, and that strata of player.

All those guys are studs and you're right on Oher. It's a hard position to pick a definitive #1

I don't even put him even with Cam Newton at this point. He is not top 5 since 92

Qb- Danny Wuerffel.
And yes he has the stats/accomplishments to back it up.

If we're counting best players, no matter how long or short their stardom in the SEC lasted, I'm going with Carlos Rogers (cornerback), Nick Fairley (defensive tackle) and Cam Newton (quarterback) from Auburn. They deserve to be on the list somehow, IYAM.
