FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Thomas Altimont has been dismissed from the University of Arkansas baseball program, as announced on Monday by head coach Dave Van Horn.
Possible charges of kidnapping and assault?
Maybe I missed it on the rant, but this seems like it would be an interesting story.

Nothing much to it other than just being a jealous douche who forced a chick into his apartment wouldn't let her leave, smacked her around a bit, hit a few walls in the apartment and tried choking himself.
Momentary rage and aggression spurned by either a trifling bitch or a girl ditching him after experiencinh his temper and jealousy.
Didn't take tBeacon long at all to boot him. He didn't get 10+ chances.

yup i was just thinking that- how do you even accomplish that with your hands (i'm presuming he didn't have some rope set up in anticipation of it)? wouldn't you just start to faint and your hands droop anyway?

Get angry and inflict self pain rather than hurt others, it's classic "see what you're making me do" emotional bullying.

This is true. It's actually a part of a larger problem as he invariably suffered from a Personality Disorder, possible a Borderline Personality. They always find themselves at odds, in every relationship, with society. They feel victimized by everyone and fail to see that the only direct link to all their dysfunctional relationships is them selves. This is predominantly seen in females as males are must more likely to suffer narcissism when they have personality disorders but the few males who do have a true borderline personality disorder usually act out in manners very similar to this creep, especially the self-choking act.
So long story short: he is the male version of that emo chick that cuts herself

The real story on Thomas is that the girl involved is someone he has dated for the last three years. She is from the same town as Thomas, is a few years younger than him, and she elected to go to UARK after Thomas was given an opportunity to play baseball there.
The other real story is that Thomas has a problem controlling his alcohol consulption that needs to be treated, and he has entered counseling to correct the problem. He is a person that likely cannot drink in the future because he cannot control himself occasionally when he does and drinks in excess.
The other real story about Thomas is that he truly has a big heart and lots of friends in Fayetteville, including several ball players, who have supported him unequivocably since the incident, for which he is very grateful. He is very sincere about overcoming his alcohol problem and being a productive member of society, and he is doing everything he can to overcome this issue.
The real story about Thomas also is that he is very sorry for what he did but doesn't want you to feel sorry for him. He feels it was a big wake up call in his life to get his act together and overcome any unwarranted feelings of inadequacy.
The other real story about Thomas is that he asks for your forgiveness and if you are a Christain for your prayers of support.
Sincerely,
David Altimont, Thomas' Dad

Thank you for the info Mr. Altimont. I'm sure it's pretty difficult for him going through such a thing in a public manner. We wish him the best and hope he can get past this short episode and find some balance and harmony in his life.
I'm glad you're there for him, I'm sure there's been no shortage of tough love. I found the counseling and AA helped me a lot, hopefully this will ultimately be a positive for his life. Hawg Nation gives him a WPS for acknowledging his problems and tackling them head on.
