4* RB Mikel Horton and 3* S Mike Edwards possibly headed to SEC?

It was just relayed that both 4-star (5.8) Lakota West (OH) RB Mikel Horton (#22 RB, #209 national) and 3-star (5.7) Winton Woods (OH) S Mike Edwards (#28 S, NR national) are going to make a joint announcement this week. Both were in attendance at UK's spring game Saturday but have been offered by several of the same schools as well. There's talk that they end up at UK.

Indeed. The spring game turnout probably didn't hurt either. We had a bunch of guys in town for that.

Horton is a good big back, I believe he has shown off his hands at camp as well. He initially seemed bummed when his Bama visit didn't yield an offer, but I like how he took it as he just has to get better.

I had heard that. I think the UK smoke is stemming from them deciding on a joint announcement after showing up at UK's spring game. We'll see though.

Some pretty good FSU sources are saying Horton to UK. FSU went from being in the lead to second dog this past weekend.

At first I thought S Mike Edawards was the same Mike Edwards that got kicked out of UT a few years ago, but this a different kid.

Yeah, classes are about 5-6 years apart (I think that Edwards was an '09 kid).

Yes, I've been looking for a reason to post this gif in the off-season.
In all seriousness, we'll see what happens. I believe he's supposed to announce this weekend at the Rival's camp.

Yup. We'll see. One source who is almost always correct says UK. The other says it could go either way, but he's hearing more UK vibes.

i've heard its all but a certainty that these two are headed to UK. from what I gather in asking around, UK's staff is outworking just about everyone in the state of ohio outside of ohio state and michigan. big ten also rans are getting waxed. that conference is a joke.

Per Rivals, Mikel Horton has committed to UK. No word on Edwards yet I believe.
