Damn we had to draw UGA.

I think we can beat out Oregon St however. We've gotten better as the year has gone along but this team is more built for next year.

We aren't world beaters this year

They're definitely being taken lightly. They placed ahead of us a couple months ago in a tournament in Texas. With the home crowd, they'll be tough to beat.

Oh I don't think we'll beat them. We're just starting to perform a little better so I could see us sneaking past. I wasn't expecting a top 8 finish again this year so just a good showing will be fine by me. Finishing lower than 3 would be a bad way to end what has been a pretty rough year for them in comparison to recent seasons.

Why is corvallis hosting when we're the 1 seed (and they're the 2) and we're ranked 10 spots higher?

We will have to match our season high(197.100) or better to finish in the top 2. I doubt we can do that away from home.

Maybe Georgia never put in a bid to host?

There are two other #1 teams that aren't hosting, either.

It's the first time a D2 school has made it to D1 regionals. They have a great young gymnast that started at Auburn but ended up at Bridgeport (long story). Nothing to sneeze at.
