Was just on ESPN about AU stuff.
Whether you like him or not, dude is making bank on his book deal with Harper Collins and probable new contract with 97.3. Should be back on air in another month or so.

I give him a lot of respect with the fact he has to deal with bama and auburn fans at the same time.

He certainly has the most gullible audience in the country.

If by "the best college sports radio host in the country" you mean the biggest pot stirrer in the country, then that could be a true statement.

Starting this thread makes that obvious

Wouldn't be a Feinbaum without AU and Bama fans.

Definitely!!!!........if you live in birmingham and that's all you've ever heard. Hell he doesn't/didn't even have the best show on his own station.
Finebaum is nothing but jerry springer. He's a moderator for bumbling, mouth breathing, uneducated, sidewalk retard bama and auburn fans to call in and argue with each other while he sits back and watches. Then the crowd (or the listening audience) calls in to comment on what just happened. It is absolutely mind blowing that he could rise to such popularity and become such an authoritative figure in radio, simply by exploiting the stupidity and fervor of his listening base.

Bill King. He is very knowledgeable about almost every team in the country. There's not a question he doesn't have an answer for. Paul Finebaum is good regionally but mainly Auburn/ Bama stuff. King just imparts knowledge about everybody that matters in college sports.

I've heard PF speak in person & on the radio to various other call in shows' announcers, and his whole personality is different, as in factual & unbiased. When he's on the air with his show, he's a sports jock version of Howard Stern & Jerry Springer. Stern & Springer get old fast, especially once you get past his "hook" on that day's show. If you're looking to be entertained, and not educated, he's perfect for that.

Yep. When he decides to have guests on the show or has big time guests, he is one of the best interviewers out there. He knows how to stay out of the way and let them talk. The callers are simply entertainment.

No compete as his contract expired 3-31. Probably entertaining offers now before signing with someone new.
