No.

Did it hurt FGCU? Wichita State?

Florida played a good OOC schedule, as well. In the end, they were missing a player or two on their roster to put them over the hump and ended up having a bad game when you can't afford one.

But still there was a big gap talent wise between UF and the rest of the SEC, and everyone drops a game now in then. I think they kinda put themselves in a false sense of security, and it wasn't really their fault.

They made it to the elite eight. They didn't exactly struggle in the tournament.

The lack of an inside game hurt us combined with no guard that can break down a defender hurt us more than anything.

No true NBA talent on this year's team didn't help either.

Suckage in the SEC certainly wasn't beneficial.

no. Witchita state and FGC played much weaker conference schedules. Both ruined my bracket by upsetting almost everyone they played. Florida is who I thought they could be. They weren't good enough to win it all this year and I thought it was painfully obvious.

No, they simply lost to a better team.

No, they went about as far as they could have, and got lucky enough to land in a bracket where the #15 seed got to the Sweet 16. They just didn't have it this year. If the SEC had been tougher, they'd have simply lost more regular season games, gotten a lower seed in the NCAA and lost earlier.

Sometimes, this is really all it boils down to.
