Yep, Spring is where bench jobs from younger players are won and lost.

Shane led the entire Cardinals team in Batting Average, Runs, Hits, Doubles, Stolen Bases, OBP, Slugging %, OPS, and tied in HR's.

Chambers, in 5 less at bats, was 2nd to last on the team in almost all of those categories.

Not high on Chambers at all myself, Shane really either, but would take Shane over Adron all day.

Yeah the decision to keep Shane was a no brainer. He had an incredible spring.

Like you, not real high on either of them... just like Chambers a little more.

Could all be solved by a Oscar Taveras call-up in a couple months.

Zach Jackson P Toronto Blue Jays
Logan Kensing P Washington Nationals
Cliff Pennington SS Oakland Athletics
Justin Ruggiano LF Tampa Bay Rays

Not sure when last updated.

Could all be solved by cutting worthless Wiggington and giving that spot to Oscar, infield depth or not.

So damn bad.

The Wiggington signing is so bad and makes so little sense that it makes me feel speechless when I think about it... no one get's it.

Glad they got out of the Cedeno mistake. Wish they could do the same with old Wiggs.

And can't wait for Wacha, would love to gas Westy at some point and replace him with Wacha if he's ready to go. Not really sure why they were so eager to pick up a 8.5 mill option on a 5 inning .500 pitcher.

Pedro Alvarez - Pirates
Ryan Flaherty - Orioles
Mike Minor - Braves
Jensen Lewis - Cubs
Mike Baxter - Mets (I think)

Several others that will get called up as the year goes on sure I'm missing a few as well.

Jackie Bradley, Jr. is having a huge opening day first game as a rookie for the Red Sox vs the Yankees on ESPN.

It's been Jackie Bradley, Jr. Day all game long.
