Did I say you said he was going to UNC?

No but I said he's going to FSU. Because he is.

A few weeks ago I would have completely agreed, but the chances of him heading to Kentucky these last couple of weeks has increased alot surprisingly. The kid is very close lipped and no one really knows where he is going, but we should find out within the next 2 weeks.

I think it comes down to 2 questions.

1. Do you want to be THE guy
2.Do you want win a championship

I think FSU easily provides number 1, but Kentucky provides his best chance at #2.

I honestly don't think he ends up at UNC or Kansas at all. There is nothing really pointing to this.

I think you overvalue how much he cares about winning a title. He could shoot hoops in his parents driveway next year and still be a top ten pick.

He would be a legend at FSU and the family pressure is really pushing him there. Btw most believe UK is out.

Unless he has a Carmelo year and takes that team to the National Title, which won't happen, he won't be remembered by much for only one season there

One of the best athletes to ever step foot on FSU's campus? He would be talked about for years.

So yes, he would be a legend at FSU.

ESPN’s Eammon Brennan puts it best:

Anyway, if Wiggins chooses Florida State, he might just be good enough to make the Seminoles a contender in the ACC. If he picks Kentucky, just cancel the season and give the Wildcats the title. It will save us all a lot of time.

FSU has an extremely talented, young team. With Wiggins we definitely could make a run.

Yeah add Wiggins to any top 25ish team and you can't count them out for anything. He's that good.

I don't think there's a team in the country Wiggins wouldn't make a run with.

I'm not buying that Florida State will be a Top 25ish team next season unless they add Wiggins.

If Wiggins ends up at FSU, I think that their season will play out similarly to Texas' 06-07 season.

I just meant within range of the range of the top 25. If they are in the top 40 and add Wiggins they are automatically contenders.

I mean Wiggins will do wonders for a team save like Mississippi State or Auburn type teams.

What is this supposed to even mean? A full rebuild + 4 season-ending knee injuries does not make a terrible team. Did you forget the last 20 years? I'll that for you

The past 12 years(including this one):
Kentucky - .753
Florida - .742
MSU - .633
Bama - .622
Tenn - .621
Vandy - .618
Ole Miss - .584
LSU - .572
Arky - .542
USCe - .523
UGA - .518
Auburn - .474

You fired the coach that was responsible for most of that success and hired a coach half as good. I was more specifically talking about how bad the team was last year, not the overall program. Sorry if I worded it badly. Wiggins wouldn't be able to turn a team like Auburn or State into a contender was my point (as awesome as he is). But a mid tier team he certainly could.

It's over this man just tweeted about the Jordan Brand Classic and called Andrew Wiggins his brother.

quote:

I only get like 15 min at the Jordan event this weekend but I always try to squeeze some more songs in! My brother playing too @22wiggins!

In all seriousness this is one of the things that sets Cal apart from most other coaches.

How does Drake have any affiliation with Kentucky?

The guy is pretty smart in finding ways to reel in these classes like he does every year
