He left himself no option.

Once he officially enters, its a done deal since he entered last year.

He entered last year "to test the waters/get evaluated" then withdrew.

You can only do that once without signing an agent, second time you lose your NCAA eligibility.

Now you can get an evaluation from the NBA without entering the draft, use to you had to enter/withdraw to get the evaluation.

This year he took out an insurance policy that was really only good for this season, no feasible option for him to renew for another year.

He basically withdrew from classes after winter break, would have to make up this semester, I'm sure, over the summer to be eligible next year.

He left himself no option but to enter the draft, even tho he should come back for himself, best for the team he leaves. Addition by subtraction, you take team chemistry over talent every day of the week.

Best of luck to him. Hopefully he does what he needs to do to succeed at the next level, because right now he doesn't have it
