It's easier to ignore your retarded opinions when you leave them in the original thread.

Duke
A lot of people are saying Duke and UNC are a package deal. Can't have one without the other.
Same thing with OU/OSU.

Duke in the SEC would be worse than Mizzourah
1) rude fans
2) don't travel
3) yankees slumming at a school located in the south
4) JAPS are not that hot
5) 1 sport that they have only been good at under 1 coach (see also VPI with Beamer)
6) too many bandwagon fans (Like adding Notre Dame to the SEC)

correct. Duke and UNC are tied at the hip and are a package deal.

Why would a large public school and a small private be a package deal? I would think that they would make sure they schedule each other every year.

Dook? -- Hell no... Not near enough football interest or living alumni. One private school is all the conference needs to hold off FOIA requests.
Moblehoma? Toothless, fish-tickling, bare-foot-and-pregnant U? -- Dear Lord!!! ZERO new TV markets that are worth a shite. Furthermore, their mouths are firmly attached to Bevo's nutless sack.

North Carolina basketball culture and they are like 15 miles a part with that huge rivalry. I can see both moving to the BIG if they do eventually decide to leave the ACC. Really UNC is the ACC...

No to OU FOREVER.
OU is between a rock and a hard place. In one hand, they are tied to Texas because they need the RRR for recruiting. On the other hand they can't leave Okie St. in a ditch or T. Boone will use his political power/money to frick their university.
So they are stuck.
And it couldn't happen to a better pile of land stealing, recruit stealing son-of-a-bitches.
I hope their program rots in the Big 12.
