Touchtunes Jukebox. What's your experience with this machine?

It has the best music collection I've ever seen from a jukebox, as it feeds into the internet and get new albums daily.
Any albums/songs you like to play? or rare stuff you have seen on it?

Piece of shite that wastes money. Get an iPod and a hook up to your stereo system and your good to go

That doesn't work at the bar unless I'm the resident DJ.(which I would be amazing at)

You're going to hook your iPhone up to your stereo system at the bar?

Download their app on your phone. It's awesome. You create an account and link it to your card. Then you can connect to the touchtunes box at whatever bar you are at (I believe wi-fi required), add moeny/credits to your account, and play any songs you want, all without getting up from your chair. If you're an avid jukebox hero, it's the way to go for sure.

Watching someone pump 5 bucks into one while I pay 1.50 to play Mountain Jam from my phone next is a lot of fun.

So they have these things called smart phones. On these smart phones you can download this things called Apps. The Apps let you do a variety of things. In this case the App allows you to play music on the jukebox from your phone. The song Mountain Jam costs 1 dollar to play. If you pay an extra 50 cents it plays your song next in front of all the songs that people have payed to hear already. So for 1.50 you can skip all the shitty music people played in front of you for 29 minutes of Allman Brothers goodness.

Yeah, I always thought paying the extra credit to play your song next was silly. Not like I'm in a hurry or anything if I'm at the bar.

Depends on what the music playing is. I will gladly pay 50 cents to hear a half hour of music I like over a half hour of rap or whatever is playing.

Haha. I'd love to see that.

People get so confused. And then they forget about it for a while. Then at the 15-20 minute mark they start to realize the same song is still playing and get pissed.

Whatever you do don't download the app to your phone while it's fun to screw with drunk people and insert songs in the middle of their playlist (I don't care how much metal you play, just bieber popping up in the middle of it makes you look like a bitch) it gets really expensive real fast if you don't pay attention. Other than that it's nice to have that big of a selection at any bar you go to with that jukebox. I rather enjoy them in bars.

I saw on reddit where a guy lived above a bar with a touchtone jukebox, and he used his phone to have "Never Gonna Give You Up" play continuously for an hour

Not really. You cant just play music and have it charge your card. You have to buy credits, and then load the credits to the juke box.

well yea, it just made it more convenient for me to play the jukebox a bunch, the app itself was designed to probably save a normal non-wasted(debbie downer) person money with the buy credits and load them to the jukebox model.
