State's coach is too worried about playing in amateur tournaments rather than coaching the team or recruiting it seems.

Who is State's head coach?
Golf is like any other sport in that a great head coach who can recruit can make a huge difference in a program. Alabama's men's and women's teams went from being average at best to arguably the best overall program in both men's and women's college golf after their latest hires. Both the men's and women's golf teams have been ranked anywhere from #1 to #4 the last 3 year's solid.
