NCAA Tourney is flawed.

The committee should just seed teams based on their performance during the season and that's it.
I read comments from committee members that explain the process, they purposely create specific match-ups.
Say a team struggled only against big rebounding teams, the committee will try to match them up with a big rebounding team.
They do this to try and get as many close-watchable games as possible for tv ratings. It's stupid. Just seed teams and slot them in based on their performance instead of trying to create specific match-ups.
Also, probably no good way around this... but it's pretty bogus that Kansas just played a home game against UNC in an environment that should be neutral.
(move to OT board)

You just realizing that the tourney seeding is rigged?
Shocking on your part to say the least.

So the committee is purposely putting Mizzou against small schools with the school colors of green and gold?
Mizzou may never advance past the first game in the tournament again.
I see why you want this changed.

Welcome to the real world where pretty much everything is flawed

Now that its out the way, the committee is very biased and that is why people are upset about the football approach.

It's never going to be perfect. And the Committee seeds for matchups and TV viewership all the time. I still prefer March Madness over any post-season at this point.

Try to contain your zou-session. This really is about the big picture with the tourney even though I'm not happy that Mizzou can't beat little schools that wear green and gold.

You are complaining because the NCAA put you in a SEC venue close to your home! They gifted you guys and you still did not show up.

Didn't the committee violate one of their own rules "no 1st round rematches" when they put UNLV vs. Cal?

No. It's the opposite of stupid. It's smart. Why shouldn't a tournament that exists to make money try to make as much money as possible? For fairness? That's adorable. And stupid, which is the opposite of smart.

Number one seeds get as much of a home-court advantage in the first two rounds as possible, by design. Is this the first time you've ever watched a tournament?
