-nie can't be on the field at the same time.

Interdasting. I'm sure a lot of people expected to see them both playing some ST, right? I mean of course one of them could get a number change, or they could just play ST separately, but yeah.

I'd probably rather have Henry on ST than Vinnie. Vinnie can change numbers.

That was the 1st thing I thought when we found out Henry was going to be #3. I, personally, expect them both to be on STs a lot and would think they would both be on KO team. If so, one will have to change numbers.

Vinnie needs to change numbers. 3 doesn't look good on him anyway.

I like 3 on Vinnie. I doubt Vinnie is a special teamer this year. Juniors who played a bunch as a frosh and soph dont tend to stay on st their junior years.

Vinnie is more likely to be in kickoff coverage.

I can see Henry on KO returns on the deep blocking level. He is not a defensive player so kick coverage is not as natural as for a DB/LB.

Pretty much all of our RBs were on KO team freshman year. Henry would be well suited for it with his size and speed.

I still think it's funny other fan bases don't think Henry ends up at RB.......that is his only natural position..and he has very good vision. He just happens to be 6'3 240.

I'd still love for him to switch to LB.

I think he would look better running the ball than tackling....what if he can't tackle well?!?! I know obviously that is something that is very coachable...and I'm sure the young man is very coachable.I WANT TO SEE HIM RUN THE BALL...When's the last time we've seen someone with his size with his speed and vision? ESPN had him the 9th player overall in the country fwiw..

I just feel we have a bigger need at LB right now. We are still stacked at RB without Henry.

The problem with doing that is Henry has no previous experience playing linebacker (or any defensive position) in high school. He's going to be raw as hell if he switches over to linebacker and it's far from a guarantee that he'll ever be able to adjust to the position accordingly.

I feel like the LB depth is fine with Mosley, Depriest, Devall, Foster and Allen among others but they need a top pass rusher in the worst way. I believe they should only move Henry to LB if they feel like he has the skillset to be an elite pass rusher. It wouldn't make much sense if they moved him to LB only to have him back up Reuben Foster for the next three years.

Not to mention Ryan Anderson is still an unknown, as is Tim Williams. Way too many guys at LB to think Henry could just switch and crack the two-deep in the next three years - and a player of his caliber ain't waiting 3+ years to play.

Obviously switching Henry to LB could happen, but the most logical switch for him would be to Hback or WR, IMO.

Not sure where I saw it, but, new rule change this year is that no two players on the same team can have the same number, regardless of when they are on the field.

Going to be several changes in numbers this year.

The rule is that no two players at the same position can have the same number.

Example: LSU had multiple kickers wearing the same number.

It would be impossible for a team to not have duplicate numbers as there are generally more than 99 guys on most Div. 1 teams.
