Well, if you gave them some food it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, even if this post is a total sham.

I agree. I may hold back on money, but I'd 100 percent be willing to give food, etc.

Get them to mow your lawn or some shite. If they are really this down on their luck, they'd jump at the opportunity.

Growing up around redneck scam artists (and most of my family still fits into this category), I assume that every plea is a scam.

I have seen many of these on craigslist over the last couple years. I do believe there are some fake ones out there and even some where people are just lazy. I also believe there are some were people truly need help and have resorted to posting an ad on craigslist for help. Some people just cant catch a break and i guess when you are about to lose everything you will do what you got to do to survive. That being said, I would give them food or offer them some type of work.
