Looks like LSU, A&M, OM, Auburn will all be running a variation of the No-Huddle offense next year. That is REALLY going to piss of Saban
Another copycat...
College Football is definitely changing

Yeah, because the no-huddle or spread has never been run in the SEC before.

Also I think Saban knows how to work against it now.

Who is LSU copying? Oregon? West Virginia?

Apparently everyone is going to run it... I'm waiting for Arkansas to say they will be a no-huddle, pound the ball offense, and that is JUST the West.
In the East, UK will do so as well. Their OC came from Tech, and was a disaster there, but has the same philosophy

You mean the one that played at Kentucky in the 90s when it was run under Mumme IN THE SEC before your boys ever showed up?
I'm aware.

Yes, it is a copycat... it isn't a bad thing to copy what works.

So the better question is who WON'T be running some version of the spread next year?
Alabama
Arkansas
UGA
Any others?

What are you doing reading The Advocate?

This is great news IMO...
LSU has the pieces in place to be really good the next few years....excellent recruiting, excellent coordinators...
We're definitely not dropping down anytime soon
