His plays decline because teams could load the box with 8 or 9 guys. Now he should have Better numbers because he has help.

Dumervil going to still get $4.9M from Denver in accelerated guaranteed money left from his contract, so there's a good chance we could bring him in for cheap this year. Like a 4 year deal for $30M with $16M guaranteed. That would only be a cap hit of $3M this year.
We're still about $8M under the cap with Grimes, Walker, Peterson, McCown, Owens, Chris Hope all still unsigned.
We also need about $3.5M to sign all of our rookie draft picks once they sign.
I'm pretty sure we're going to do a new contract for Matt Ryan soon that will take his cap hit from $12M down to something more like $7-$8M, which means we can free up another $4-$5M.
Unfortunately I think Grimes is gone. It looks like Miami might want him. We need Walker back too. He's played extremely well off the bench for us.

Grimes is definitely gone. I believe we have most of our guys signed, plus SJax with about 3-4 mil in cap space. The D still needs a ton of work though.
