UK fans, what do you know about Matt Jones?

Is he reliable? Supposedly this morning he said that the Andrew Wiggins recruitment was down to a 2 horse race between UNC and KU.

I don't care for him personally because in the past he typically just pulled info from "sources" that were actually just other UK pay sites. As far as Wiggins I have a hard time buying any list without FSU on it for him. That's JMO.
FWIW I read somewhere earlier Jones threw out a potential roster for next year that included Willie Caulie-Stein, Archie Goodwin, and Alex Poythress returning too. I don't believe that for a second.

I'm not a fan of his personally, but he does seem to have good information most of the time. So, Wiggins has UK off his list? Last I heard I thought it was us and one other team for his services.

FWIW he may also be seeing if anybody returns for UK now that some of the draft stocks have dropped.

Matt Jones is okay. Kind of an arse when he cuts everyone off on his radio show. Other than that I don't care where his sources come from because they have generally been pretty accurate.
I have faith in what he says however for Wiggins I agree with the others that FSU is definitely on his list. His parents are alums!

WCS has played his way up and I just don't see him coming back. Not with what's coming in and as weak as the draft is. I don't see Goodwin coming back either for the same reasons.

yeah, WCS is the only guy of the three who could make that jump at this point... but he's still very raw. Of course they all saw what happend to Noel, so turning down a 1st round projection and guranteed roster spot is tough to do.

Matt Jones is usually pretty late to reporting news when it comes to football recruiting. Basketball is ok, but his only source seems to be Mike Pratt.
Overall, he's really pertencious and not that enjoyable to listen to on the radio. He provides good information, but I would rather get it from somewhere else.

When Matt Jones says Wiggins isn't coming, he's probably right. Over the years he went from stealing pay sites info to having legitimate sources. His roster today said that if the decisions were made today, here is what it will look like. Tourney performance could change a couple. He seemed more certain about Poythress returning than anyone. He did say he didn't see Harrow returning.
ETA:I love his show and how he cuts off numb nuts posters that just spew bullshite without reason. If I had a show, that would be me. He basically calls out idiots.

Jones like the story to go his way. Not good at listening and not good of him to rip on older media folks who actually had to check multiple sources before running their stories. Not real happy that the voice of the next generation of BBN is a Dook law grad.

If the wiggins information he posed is being taken seriously, then the information he said about who's coming back next year should be, too. I didn't listen to it but apparently he said Goodwin, Poythress, and WCS are all coming back? I have a hard time believing Goodwin (and probably WCS too) would come back, but if his information (as of today, obviously) is correct, then the returning guys + that recruiting class...
